its’ first Hey Chica Summit in Dallas. A Latina Leadership Conference. The experience was designed to deliver real life conversations about struggles, hurdles and sisterhood. The discussion panels are thought out with intention and serve a one-day program with local spotlights and stimulating activities.

Mother-daughter relationships play a significant role in the way we develop friendships and how we raise our own daughters. During this experience, you will hear from a mother-daughter duo about their journey and Healthy Latina Lifestyle’s own Founder on how the summit began with her own realization of the role her mother played in her journey.

 From Surviving to Thriving, Latinas have overcome a unique set of cultural, professional, and personal challenges in order to achieve their goals and gain positions of influence. Hear from a leading lady on how to explore your ideas, navigate roadblocks, tap into your purpose, and reclaim your boss goals through self-reflection & self-empowerment. #crazygood


10:00 AM - 10:40 AM Breakout Sessions 

Find your Gente: Real life conversations on women supporting women. For many Latina professionals, leadership can be a lonely place. This session focuses on building a team that encompasses your coach, sponsor, mentor, peer, and friend and paying it forward by becoming a part of someone else’s team. 


The Strength in Your Story: Publishing you personal narrative Sharing the Latina experience is vital in uncovering our strengths born from our struggles and empowering the next generation of fierce Latinas. In this panel, you will learn how to explore your personal narrative and turn it into a published piece of art.


Started from the Bottom: Using your influence to make a difference. You’ve said goodbye to the barrio and now it’s time to give back. In this panel, you will hear from women across sectors who are using their power, influence, and experiences to strategically give back to their communities through service, leadership, and sponsorship while activating others to join in on your generosity. 


Como la Flor: Pushing through the mud to bloom You might fall, but never underestimate your ability to get back up. In this intimate off-the-record conversation, you will hear from a Latina leader who experienced a public downfall and overcame with humility, heart, and a commitment to her community. 


Dollars and Sense: the in’s and outs of raising money & self-funding.

 You can’t make dollars if it doesn’t make sense. In this session, you will hear from venture capitalists on how to refine your vision in a way that inspires others to support your goals and allows you to expand your vision in order to cultivate an army of Latina entrepreneurs.

Learn from local leading ladies on how they define balance and create and accomplish their own expectations while remaining fulfilled in their work, play, and family-time. In this panel you will hear from working moms, single ladies and those who have been there and done that. 


1:10 PM - 1:50 PM Breakout Sessions 


Roots Rising: Connecting to the culture in Dallas Navigating the professional world while remaining connected to your roots can be a challenge. In this session, you’ll hear from ladies who have tapped into the Latino community in Dallas in order to create initiatives that cultivate their communities. 


Mixing it Up: All the ingredients you need to collaborate with other communities of color Stop competing and start collaborating. In this panel, you will hear from women of color who have teamed up with other communities of color and effectively joined forces to support each other’s visions. 


Hermanas con ganas: Panel of women who are slaying their industries Where are all the brown women? In this session, you will hear from women in the corporate, non-profit, and start-up worlds who are navigating a male-dominated environment and shattering the glass-ceiling through strategy and grace. 


 Turn your volume up on your vibe. Latinas can hustle, like our mothers and abuelas. Hear from entrepreneurs who took their side-hustle to the next level. You’ll hear about the growing pains, the realizations that go along with it, and how to find the inspiration to keep it growing. 


2:00 PM - 2:40 PM General Session 


The New Guard: Passing the torch with strategy and grace. 

The challenge of being a brown woman isn’t over. Our ability to continue to climb the ladder lies in our commitment to equip the new generation and learning from the women who have come before us. This session will focus on navigating the rules of engagement and how the Big Establishment of Giants work to inaugurate the new guard of Latinas poised to take lead.
